SALVATION

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not yourselves: It is the gift of God.

Eph. 2:8

The best thing in life is to be saved. God has so graciously provided a free gift to you called “salvation.”  What is salvation? It is the free gift of eternal life whereby, “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting (eternal) life” (John 3:16). This means that we can live forever with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.  How does one accept or receive this gift? One simply invites Christ into their heart. The Bible says, “For by grace (God’s mercy, love, and compassion), are we saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.” As you accept Christ into your heart and life, instantly:

  1. All of your past, present, and future sins will be forgiven.
  2. You will inherit a brand-new life for the present.
  3. And eternal life for the future.

Repeat this prayer:

“Heavenly Father, I confess and repent of all my sins and ask your forgiveness and cleansing by the blood of Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died for me, was buried, and arose from the dead for my sins. Come into my heart, Lord. I receive You now as my loving Savior. Thank You for saving me, Father, in Jesus name.

Hallelujah, now that you’ve accepted Christ, all of heaven rejoices over your repentance (Luke 15:7).

Now that you are saved, by accepting God’s free gift, ask the Lord to graciously fill you with His mighty Holy Spirit baptism. You will need the infilling or baptism of fire and power for service, witnessing and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, developing spiritual endurance for total Christian maintenance and new dimensions in Christian growth and experiences, otherwise, one could not possibly attain.
